Primary Responsibilities:

Project Management (40%) 

  • In the phase during which Satair is still onboarding the A220, you will be assigned to lead one or several work packages to transfer the business from Bombardier into the Satair organization. The domains to cover may include but are not limited to Processes, IT & Data setup, quality, strategic procurement...
  • Contribute as necessary to the overall consistency, progress, and tracking of the project during the project phase
  • Help to adapt the Satair A220 setup to the development/footprint of the fleet, establish relevant business cases and projects to prepare the future
  • Lead projects as defined to mature the A220 Spares Business (could be in terms of sales but also in terms of support/satisfaction)

Product Management (40%)

  • Work as a Product Manager dedicated to A220
  • Perform thorough scoping and strategic analysis of the business to find levers, whereby we can take the A220, spares revenue from 11M$ to 50M$ p.a. by 2025
  • Maintain budget accountability for the product line(s) assigned in terms of generating revenue & profit along the defined path
  • Lead/Contribute to the establishment of product strategies and wherever possible ensure synergies with Satair's existing product portfolio and PM Organisation
  • Develop intelligence on the A220 platform with regards to Spares & Services demand to contribute to the strategic roadmap of the program
  • Participate in the overall governance  between the Airbus Canada JV and Airbus
  • Create and implement short and long-term global marketing and sales plans
  • Develop, analyze, and present solutions using various reporting tools on a variety of issues including sales results, forecasting, inventory, and related matters.

Contribute to overall A220 Program success for Airbus: 20%

  • Maintain contact with all levels within the customer organization to ensure that their needs are being understood and met by initiatives.
  • Work closely with Sales Directors and Support Directors to build the confidence of customers in Airbus commitment to support the A220 Program
  • Provide visibility to stakeholders on the roadmap and improvements that can be expected
  • Provide sales leads/opportunities on A220 and establish commercial offers including determining pricing conditions or support to aircraft sales campaigns as applicable 


Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

Excellent commercial skills and business acumen (3 to 5 years of commercial business experience)

Strong understanding of the Commercial aviation aftermarket supply chain (3 to 5 years of experience)

Demonstrable success in meeting and exceeding sales targets

Advanced level analytic skills (ability to see the big picture) and data analytics

Excellent stakeholder skills.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Versatility to be a Product Manager and also to be a Project Manager that can handle a wide variety of assignments, particularly in the transition and improvement phase.


  • A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Marketing, Engineering or Aerospace or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree preferred.


  • 3 to 5 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or sales/customer service (preferably in the aviation industry).

 Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:

  • Advanced utilizing Excel and Powerpoint. Use of SAP or other ERP system a plus.

 Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):

  • Strong influencing and assertiveness skills

 Technical Systems Proficiency:

  • Advanced in tools that support data analytics

 Travel Required:

  • 50% - both domestic and intercontinental
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally sometimes on short notice and sometimes for long periods.

  • Ability to negotiate pricing discounts.
  • Ability to develop commercial agreements.
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve disputes downstream/upstream.
  • Ability to provide stocking recommendation based on limited market information
  • Ability to conduct multi-functional projects in a complex environment
