Position Summary: Engage in hose production using company guidelines, technical data and following the quality system ensuring compliance with Eaton and FAA regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Hose Production:

  • Production of Eaton Hoses in accordance with the technical engineering data and quality system, Eaton's regulations and FAA regulations.
  • Perform various processes to assemble and test hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel/oil hoses and components to manufacturer's technical engineering data.
  • Work with Planning and Quality departments to ensure all documentation, calibrated tools, precision tools and equipment are in accordance with all applicable standards.

 Production Related responsibilities:

  • Participate in the registration and understanding of drawings (ACES, AEVs, SBs, etc.) following agreement with the Production Manager and Shop Supervisor.
  • Ensure the production shop and personal workspace is maintained and kept tidy at all times.

 Individual Development and Team Responsibilities:

  • Participates in annual recurrent training specific to duties and other training as recommended by the Quality department and/or Production managers.
  • Work to contribute in a positive way so that department KPI's are met.
  • Actively participates in environmental, health and safety processes and procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:  

Other duties as assigned:

  • Participate in daily and weekly meetings conducted by Operations Manager.
  • Participate in on the job training (OJT) as required.

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:


  • High School Diploma
  • Some College Preferred


  • Minimum 3 years prior production experience
  • Prior experience repairing aircraft parts in a FAR 145 environment, desired.


  • Manufacturer training certification preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:

  • Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings
  • Ability to provide attention to detail
  • Ability to function and adapt in a fast-paced environment with flexibility
  • Ability to understand and comply with company's Quality Management System (QMS)

Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):

  • Written and verbal fluency in English

Technical Systems Proficiency:

  • Ability to measure, calculate and accurately determine sums and numerical conclusions to produce quality parts
  • Demonstrated abilities with power tools, various mechanical tooling and testing equipment and soldering equipment associated with shop production.

Travel Required:

  • 5% Domestic and International

  • Decisions could impact the final product quality. To prevent non-conformances, the employee is required to assess correct process and follow Eaton's ACES guidelines, as well as internal quality processes.

Physical Requirements:

Lifting and Carrying: Able to carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis.

Hearing: Corrected hearing able to respond to emergency alarms, alerts and warnings. Ability to hear via telephone, teleconference, and work-related conversations.

Pushing/Pulling/Manipulation: Able to push and pull items in the work place

Sitting: Able to sit and work in front of a computer or other machine for extended periods of time.

Squatting/Kneeling: Able to squat and kneel as needed to retrieve or place items on low shelving.

Standing: Able to stand for long periods of time

Physical requirements similar to that of a moderate activity job.
