Position Summary:

Build and maintain relationships with the Principal/Vendor and serve as their liaison to Satair and its' internal functions. Engage with Sales to identify customer needs and provide pricing quotes.  Provide guidance and employ sales force on specific product(s).  Develop marketing campaigns. 


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Define the roadmap of product push campaigns to stimulate sales for the year in the Americas region
  • Identify opportunities for sales based on Satair knowledge of supporting the active fleet
  • Define and create the content of the campaigns, including relevant product / technical information
  • Roll-out the campaigns with the Sales teams and elaborates any relevant marketing material in close cooperation with the marketing department
  • Follow-up the campaigns as well as their outcome commercially, and also ensures the learning curve as appropriate within the organization (e.g. price and demand feedback)
  • Establish the product & service roadmap and drumbeat fulfilment of product & service operations (improvement plan) and development together with the support of internal and external stakeholders
  • Actively manage the creation and implementation of global business plans
  • Lead the governance with regards to operational and financial performance from target proposal (AOP, Forecast) to follow up (MBR Monthly Business Review)
  • Specify and maintain the product & service dashboards to report on performance including root causes analyses where relevant
  • Support sales in maintaining and winning new business
  • Work closely with Supply Chain to optimize the product lines' inventory investment and provide them with necessary market trend intelligence

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training

Demonstrable commercial skills and business acumen (3 to 5 years of commercial business experience)

Strong understanding of the Commercial aviation aftermarket supply chain (3 to 5 years of experience)

Demonstrable success in meeting and exceeding sales targets

Intermediate/advanced level analytic skills (ability to see big picture)

Excellent stakeholder and time management skills.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.



  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering or Aerospace or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • 3 to 5 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or sales (preferably in the aviation industry).


Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:

  • Proficient utilizing Excel and Powerpoint. Use of SAP or other ERP system a plus.


Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):

    • Able to provide user instructions and notifications in a clear, understandable manner either via messaging or printed documents.
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) capability is strongly preferred.
    • Able to speak and conduct conversations often for extended periods of time in meetings, negotiations and training.


Technical Systems Proficiency:

  • Intermediate level of expertise with Microsoft Office.

 Travel Required:

  • Able to travel domestically and internationally sometimes on short notice up to 20%.
