Position Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage the Customer Demand Planners in his/her allocated region for IMS or Customer Solutions contracts allocated to his/her region and responsible for securing the implementation of Planning E2E Processes
  • Act as the regional Interface and provide development support on behalf of the Planning function and in-charge of cascading information to the Head of Operational Planning in the allocated region of development of CDP projects.
  • Individually manage one or more IMS or Customer Solution contracts being responsible for achievement of contracted service levels and full E2E planning process.

 Secondary Responsibilities

  • In agreement with the management, participate in and plan external and internal visits with suppliers
  • In cooperation with Contract Management & Sales Support/Sales Management ensure that Satair Group stock is in accordance with the contractual obligations
  • Participate in supplier contract and agreement negotiations concerning: inventory level, turn, order sizes, lead time, supplier performance, IT key user activities, to coach and mentor employee under his/her leadership

 General ability to:

  • Comply with Satair Group's mission, values and Quality Management procedures and guidelines on Ethics & Compliance
  • Understanding, sharing and living of Satair Group values and rules
  • Keep the direct report informed of the status of agreed tasks and of any critical problem areas
  • Participate in optimizing Satair Group's business procedures by applying existing Satair Group's IT systems
  • Comment/advise on unsatisfactory situations within the organization, and propose potential solutions for improvements
  • Identify and offer suggestions to improve efficiency
  • Be well informed about and familiar with the latest developments in Satair Group's business
  • Strong inter-cultural understanding
  • Participate in occupational safety and health efforts
  • Contribute towards a positive and inspiring working environment
  • Keep the line manager informed of the status of projects and and risk implication

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Economic Degree or Supply Chain Management / Logistics background
  • Five to 7 years of experience managing complex demand related projects
  • Background as a Demand Planner
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP MRP Modules
  • Good business acumen
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English and one or more of the primary European languages.
  • Excellent computer skills, including standard office tool suite. Ex. MS Word and Excel or similar
  • Experience in Aerospace or Aviation industry is highly preferred
  • Ability to travel both internationally and domestically up to 15%
