Position Summary:

As a Supply Chain Performance and Improvement Manager the person in this role will be required to work across the complete end to end supply chain, working alongside the operational teams/functions to diagnose root causes, extract insights, troubleshoot and improve the processes and value for the customer.

Within Satair Supply Chain organisation (ASO) this individual will be part of a transverse team (ASOX Operations Development) whose mission is to develop operations by anticipating and accelerating improvements, competitiveness and ramp up enablement, all to secure high customer satisfaction. You will proactively work with stakeholders to deliver a thriving and sustainable supply chain ecosystem.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex situations and propose improvements/solutions and understand the Key Performance Indicators
  • Run/lead root cause analysis and define together with the different operational functions mitigation/improvement actions and follow them up until sustainable implementation
  • Liaise and work with other supply chain functions to implement the adequate measures to improve operations and hence customer satisfaction.
  • Act as an internal consultant and supporter for end 2 end improvement missions
  • Lead and steer different stakeholders
  • Track and follow up improvement actions in place.
  • Analyze customer satisfaction surveys (Airlines /MROs translate expectations into operational targets
  • Launch and lead improvement projects
  • Collect and compile inputs for the key regular Operations Performance Review Meetings (typically on a weekly and monthly basis)
  • Propose new Key Performance Indicators to better monitoring Supply Chain Operations
  • Contribute to improve the current Performance Management System.
  • Contribute / support the long term Supply Chain strategy definition and implementation.
  • Perform and coordinate Improvement actions/projects

Education /Skills / Experience

  • A minimum of 6-10 years of Professional Experience
  • University degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent
  • Working knowledge within Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Logistics required 
  • Knowledge of quality and Lean techniques fundamentals required 
  • Problem Solving techniques (PPS, Root Cause Analysis,...)
  • Stakeholders Management skills (ability to establish sustainable stakeholders networks and develop a positive and long-term relationship)
  • Excellent communication skills required (both verbal and written)
  • Able to work on Multi-functional / Multicultural environment
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
